IMOGEN LOCK
Imogen Lock, Soprano
Currently a student of the Morley College Opera School and the postgraduate Advanced Performance course at Chichester Conservatoire, Imogen is a 23-year-old soprano from East Sussex, who grew up just next door to Glyndebourne Opera House. She first began singing at the age of 8 and her talent was nurtured through her participation in Glyndebourne Youth Opera Chorus - with whom she sang in the world premiere of David Bruce's Nothing (2016) - and the wonderful music department at Bede's School, which she attended as an Academic, Music and Drama scholarship student.

Onstage, Imogen has shone in diverse roles with the Bristol University Operatic Society, such as Rosalinde in "Die Fledermaus" (2022), Pamina in "The Magic Flute" (2021) and most recently Pierrot in Ethel Smyth’s "Fete Galante". As a soloist, she has performed with the Bristol University Music Society, the Bristol Bach Choir and the Brighton Chamber Choir in a number of concerts.

In addition to her musical accomplishments, Imogen is a First Class Honours graduate in German and Italian from the University of Bristol and has spent time living in both Munich and Florence. Imogen's language skills enable her to learn repertoire quickly and unlock unique interpretations of libretti.

Imogen is always looking for opportunities to perform and expand her repertoire. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with any queries or bookings.
